Pasta with Tomato and Chicken Sauce
The perfect pasta with tomato and chicken sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Chicken fillets
- 1 Medium-Sized onion
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 2 Stems Fresh basil
- 100 gr Pasta
- Salt pepper
- 4 tbsp Frozen peas
- 400 gr Chunky canned tomatoes
- 1 tsp Chicken broth
- Wash the meat, pat dry and cut into thin strips. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Wash the basil and cut into strips.
- Prepare the pasta according to the instructions on the packet.
- Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the meat all around for about 5 minutes. Add onion and garlic and sauté briefly. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in tomatoes, chicken stock, peas and basil. Bring to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes over low heat. If necessary, season again with salt and pepper.
- Mix the pasta with the sauce. Garnish with basil if necessary.
