Selterwasser Cake with Schocki Glaze

The perfect selterwasser cake with schocki glaze recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 cups Flour
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 3 piece Eggs
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 1 shot Lemon juice
  • 1 Cup Selterwasser
  • 1 Chocolate icing
  1. Mix the sugar, vanilla sugar and the eggs in a bowl to form a smooth batter
  2. Then add the flour and baking powder and mix everything into a smooth dough.
  3. Then add a small dash of lemon juice and the rare water and stir everything.
  4. Place in a baking pan (springform pan) and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes until the surface is golden yellow.
  5. Let cool for 15 minutes
  6. Prepare cake icing and pour over the cooled cake – let cool down
