Paprika and Vegetable Sauce
The perfect paprika and vegetable sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 piece Red pepper
- 2 piece Yellow pepper
- 1 piece Green pepper
- 2 piece Onions
- 2 Toes Garlic fresh
- 2 piece Zucchini
- 1 bunch Fresh smooth parsley
- Olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika powder, water
- Coarsely chop the vegetables
- Heat 1 teaspoons of olive oil, then sweat the onion cubes first, add the garlic and the remaining vegetables and heat everything through
- Chop the parsley
- Add the paprika powder and parsley to the vegetables, then season with salt and pepper. Then add water until the vegetable mixture is lightly covered. Simmer gently for about 10 minutes
- Mix thoroughly with the hand blender, then add a little more liquid, if necessary, until the consistency you want is reached.
- This vegetable sauce can be frozen in small portions and is quickly available again for quick cooking.
- The sauce can be served with pasta on its own. It is also suitable as a seasoning sauce for stews when there are no fresh vegetables to hand. I also use it, for example, as a pizza sauce for the histamine-free pizza as a substitute for tomato sauce
