Quark Cream with Strawberry and Basil Pesto
The perfect quark cream with strawberry and basil pesto recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 pot Basil
- 250 g Strawberries
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 500 g Lowfat quark
- 100 ml Milk
- 3 tbsp Amaretto
- 40 g Sugar
- 50 g Dark chocolate shavings
- 3 tbsp Chopped almonds
- 0,5 tsp Lemon peel
- Set aside some basil leaves and strawberries for garnish. Halve the strawberries, puree with basil and vanilla sugar and put in the fridge.
- Stir the skimmed quark with the milk until smooth, add amaretto to taste and sweeten with sugar. Fold in the chocolate shavings, almonds and lemon zest.
- Fill the quark cream into glasses. Spread the strawberry and basil pesto on top and garnish with the strawberry and basil leaf.
