from Oven: Grated Casserole with Steamed Tilapia
The perfect from oven: grated casserole with steamed tilapia recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 size Waxy potatoes
- 1 half Leek stick
- 1 packet Mixed vegetables Tk
- 2 Toes Garlic
- 250 ml Sweet cream
- 500 ml Milk
- Salt and pepper
- Nutmeg a.d.M
- Cheese … if you like
For the salad
- 1 Roman Salad Heart
- 1 bunch Fresh radishes
- Salt and pepper a.d.M.
- Oil and vinegar
- 1 tbsp Rice or agave syrup or similar
- First put the mixed vegetables in a baking dish – I like to use my enamel mold – then I grate / slice the potatoes and the leek, everything goes on the vegetables, distribute everything well.
- Put the cream in a saucepan, add the milk, squeeze the garlic and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg, bring everything to a boil and then pour over the vegetables. Cover with cheese, I intentionally made a portion WITHOUT cheese.
- Cover the whole thing with aluminum foil and cook in the oven at 180 degrees for about 45 (if preheated) to 60 minutes (if not preheated).
- During the time the oven was doing its job … I conjured up a salad. To do this, cut the lettuce into the individual leaves, wash, wrap in a towel and spin dry, unwrap again and cut into small pieces. Cut the radishes from the bunch, remove the roots, wash and dry. Put the lettuce and radishes in a bowl and serve
- Sprinkle some salt and pepper on the grinder, pour the syrup from the bottle over it and choose the vinegar and oil to taste and give the salad the finishing touch. Before we add vinegar and oil to the salad, I divide the salad into 2 portions again, as our tastes are quite different, while the husband prefers calamansi (mandarin vinegar)
- and I like orange oil, I prefer date vinegar and hazelnut oil 🙂 everyone as they like it 😉
- And by the way the Tiapia was steaming 😉 It was a simple Saturday meal, healthy and delicious.
