Fruity Tuna Rice Salad with Tangerines, Bacon and Mozzarella

The perfect fruity tuna rice salad with tangerines, bacon and mozzarella recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the salad:

  • 1,5 bag Rice
  • 6 Red peppers pickled
  • 1 Can Tuna canned in oil
  • 1 small can Mandarin wedges
  • 1 Onion red
  • 1 Apple
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 0,5 Peppers yellow
  • 1 bullet Mozzarella
  • 3 Discs Bacon

For the dressing:

  • 200 g Sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Frozen chives
  • 2 tsp Freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Salt, colored pepper from the mill
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tsp Curry powder
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 0,5 tsp Honey
  1. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the packet, drain and drain. In the meantime, drain the peppers, tuna and tangerine wedges well. Peel the onion and peel the apple, remove the core. Cut the onion and apple into fine cubes, drizzle the apple with lime juice in a salad bowl. Clean and wash the yellow pepper half.
  2. Dice the pickled peppers, yellow pepper, mozzarella and bacon. Halve the mandarin wedges. Fry the bacon in a saucepan without adding fat and leave to cool.
  3. Add all the ingredients to the apple and mix. For the dressing, mix together the sour cream, teriyaki sauce, mayonnaise, chives and lime juice. Season well with the spices, sugar and honey and pour over the salad. Mix everything together well. As soon as the rice has cooled down, add and mix in well. Let it steep for at least four hours, take it out of the fridge half an hour before serving and stir well again.
