Kohlrabi Potato Gratin

The perfect kohlrabi potato gratin recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Kohlrabi fresh
  • 2 size Potatoes
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 100 ml Cream
  • 50 g Parmesan
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Nutmeg
  • 3 Discs Cooked ham
  • 0,5 Can Peas
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, circulating air 180 degrees. Peel the potatoes and kohlrabi and cut into thin slices. Wash young kohlrabi leaves, shake dry and chop up. Chop the ham, mix with the potato and kohlrabi slices, kohlrabi leaves and peas, season well with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Slice the Parmesan.
  2. Layer the potato kohlrabi mixture in a flat baking dish. Mix the milk and cream and pour over it. Sprinkle with Parmesan and bake in the oven on the middle rack for about 45 minutes. If the casserole gets too dark, cover with aluminum foil for the rest of the time.
