Spring Rolls with Difference
The perfect spring rolls with difference recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Mixed minced meat
- 1 Pc. Diced onion
- 1 Pc. Egg
- 1 Pr Salt
- 1 Pr Pepper
- 1 Msp Ground caraway
- 1 Pc. Red peppers
- 3 tbsp Garden herbs
- 6 sheet Banh Trang
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- Mix the minced meat with the egg and the chopped onion …. season with salt, pepper and caraway seeds … and fold in the chopped peppers and the chopped fresh garden herbs …….
- Put out a wet kitchen towel and put on it the Banh Trang (rice paper slices) which were previously drawn briefly through a filled water bowl ….. the rice sheets are available in Asian shops, prefer the Vietnamese version …
- wait quietly for a minute and then add the mince in the first third …. (see photos) …. fold in the side edges approx. 2 cm and roll up carefully ….
- Carefully place them on a plate so that they do not stick to each other …
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and carefully fry the rolls from all sides …. make sure that they don’t stick to each other here either ….. whoever wants, can deep-fry them ……
- Serve with various dips, whether served with onion jam (see own recipe), fresh salad or with ketchup …..
