Oranges – Flammeri

The perfect oranges – flammeri recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Pc. Eggs
  • 0,75 l Milk
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 90 g Sugar
  • 140 g Soft wheat semolina
  • 0,125 l Freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 St. Orange fresh for garnish
  1. Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff.
  2. Bring the milk with salt and sugar to the boil. Sprinkle in soft wheat semolina while stirring, bring to the boil again briefly, remove the pan from the stove and let it swell briefly.
  3. Whisk the egg yolk and orange juice and stir immediately into the semolina. Pull the egg whites loosely under the bush.
  4. Pour the porridge into glasses or plates and garnish with two fresh orange slices.
