Turkey: Turkey Liver with Onion and Apple

The perfect turkey: turkey liver with onion and apple recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 350 g Turkey liver
  • 250 g Apple boskop
  • 250 g Diced vegetable onions
  • 200 ml Uht milk
  • 100 g Flour
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Sea salt from the mill
  • 0,5 piece Squeezed lemon
  1. Wash the liver and remove the tendons, cut pieces into appropriate portions and soak in milk for about 2 hours.
  2. Peel and core the apples, cut into pieces and drizzle with a little squeezed lemon.
  3. Peel the vegetable onions and cut into slices. Fry in the pan with a tablespoon until golden brown. Then fry the onions on their side and the apples on all sides.
  4. Dab the liver dry and season with pepper on all sides, fry on all sides for about 5 – 10 minutes (in the first third of the heat), add apples and onions, keep warm for another five minutes.
  5. Serve with mashed potatoes and salt from the mill,
