Christmas Cinnamon Cake

The perfect christmas cinnamon cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • For the ground
  • 250 g Spiced speculoos
  • 100 g Margarine
  • For the cream
  • 8 sheet White gelatin
  • 500 g Mascarpone
  • 500 g Lowfat quark
  • 4 El Liquid honey
  • 2 El Ground cinnamon
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 200 g Cream
  • Decoration as you like
  1. Put the speculoos in a freezer bag and crumble finely with a rolling pin. Melt the margarine, add to the crumbs and stir well.
  2. Place a cake ring on a cake plate, add the crumbs and press them to form a base. Keep cold.
  3. For the cream, soak the gelatine in cold water. Mix the mascarpone with quark, honey, cinnamon and sugar. Squeeze out the gelatine and dissolve in a small saucepan over low heat. Mix with the mascarpone cream.
  4. Whip the cream until stiff and fold into the cream. Spread on the crumbs, smooth out and chill for 2-3 hours.
  5. Before serving, remove the cake ring, decorate it as you wish and finish the cake :)))
