Christmas Cinnamon Cake
The perfect christmas cinnamon cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- For the ground
- 250 g Spiced speculoos
- 100 g Margarine
- For the cream
- 8 sheet White gelatin
- 500 g Mascarpone
- 500 g Lowfat quark
- 4 El Liquid honey
- 2 El Ground cinnamon
- 150 g Sugar
- 200 g Cream
- Decoration as you like
- Put the speculoos in a freezer bag and crumble finely with a rolling pin. Melt the margarine, add to the crumbs and stir well.
- Place a cake ring on a cake plate, add the crumbs and press them to form a base. Keep cold.
- For the cream, soak the gelatine in cold water. Mix the mascarpone with quark, honey, cinnamon and sugar. Squeeze out the gelatine and dissolve in a small saucepan over low heat. Mix with the mascarpone cream.
- Whip the cream until stiff and fold into the cream. Spread on the crumbs, smooth out and chill for 2-3 hours.
- Before serving, remove the cake ring, decorate it as you wish and finish the cake :)))
