Kasseler in Sauerkraut À La Heiko

- 1 kg Raw smoked Kasseler
- 1 kg Sauerkraut
- 3 Cloves
- 6 Black peppercorns
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 Onion
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 250 ml Vegetable broth
- Mustard
- Put the sauerkraut in a saucepan and fill up with the broth. Peel the onion and stick the cloves in the onion. Now add the onion, peppercorns, bay leaves and sugar and bring to the boil.
