hearty stew from the north

Peel and finely chop the onion. Brown it in a pan with the finely chopped bacon. Then add the minced meat and cook until well-cooked. Add the vegetable stock. Now clean and finely chop the soup vegetables and add them to the stock. Peel the potatoes, trim the cauliflower, and broccoli. Chop these three ingredients as well and add them to the pot. Season everything with salt, pepper, and nutmeg and simmer the stew until the potatoes are tender. Then thicken the stock with the two cups of processed cheese. It tastes particularly good in winter.
