Cream cheese with pumpkin seed oil

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 pack of double cream cheese, natural
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 1 bunch of chives, cut into rolls
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin seed oil, Styrian
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds (roasted)
  • Salt (Fleur de sel)
  • pepper, black

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

goes well with flatbread and toasted farmer’s bread and as a dip/side dish to raw vegetables

Thoroughly mix the cheese and crème fraîche with the oil, then stir in the chives and garlic. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Before serving, season with fleur de sel and freshly ground black pepper, and sprinkle with the (roasted) pumpkin seeds.
