Instructions

Cheese sausage in puff pastry, red coleslaw with apple, radish and sweet mustard

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Cut strips of puff pastry about 2 cm wide and 25 cm long and wrap them in a spiral around the sausages. Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush with a mixture of egg yolk and a little cream. Sprinkle with caraway seeds and bake on the middle shelf of the oven until golden brown, about 10 minutes. For the salad, cut the red cabbage into thin strips with a knife or a grater. Knead well in a bowl with salt and sugar. Cut the apple into small pieces and the radishes into thin slices and mix with the cabbage along with a spoonful of sweet mustard. Dress with apple cider vinegar and rapeseed oil and season again if desired. Serve with the baked sausages.
