  • 150 g barley groats
  • 100 g raisins, soaked in water
  • 2 apples (Boskop), peeled and chopped
  • 100 g butter
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 5 tbsp cane sugar
  • 200 g cream
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Bring the milk to a boil, then add the porridge (while stirring constantly). Now add the raisins, apples, and a pinch of salt. Remove the pot from the heat and let it swell until the mixture is no longer liquid. Stir the butter into the porridge. Mix the sugar with the cinnamon and pour it over the warm porridge with the cream. My kids love it!
