Saarland potato dish with quark, when you need something quick

Cut the spring onions into small rings. Mix them with the prepared potato pancake batter, eggs, and quark. Season with salt (not too much, as the jerked beef is already quite spicy) and pepper. Generously line a large casserole dish or a deep baking sheet with baking paper and spread the mixture evenly. Bake the dish in a preheated oven at 200°C (180°C fan-assisted oven) for a good three-quarters to one hour until crispy and brown. Serve with a green leaf salad or coleslaw or kohlrabi salad. Others also like to serve applesauce with sugar and cinnamon.
