Green bean soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g beans (green beans)
  • 250 g potatoes
  • 1 point soup greens
  • 40 g bacon, diced
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable broth, instant
  • 60 g sour cream
  • savory
  • 750 ml water
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Trim and chop the beans. Peel, trim, and dice the potatoes and vegetables. Wash the vegetables. Heat the oil in a pot and sauté the bacon. Add the water and vegetables and simmer for about 20-30 minutes, until the potatoes are tender. Take about 300 ml of the soup and puree it, mix with the sour cream, and return it to the pot. Season with salt, pepper, and savory. We serve it with baguette. Tip: Cook with Mettenden or Kassler (a smoked pork loin).
