Ingredients for 13 servings:

  • 4 onions (vegetable onions)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 kg minced meat
  • 2 gr. can/n tomatoes, pureed tomatoes are NOT really suitable
  • 4 bell peppers, preferably green
  • 2 cans of corn
  • 2 gr. can/n beans, chili beans, red
  • 3 bottles of chili sauce or more
  • 1 bottle of tomato ketchup
  • 4 small cans of tomato paste
  • 3 cubes of stock
  • chili powder
  • salt and pepper
  • Tabasco
  • Paprika powder
  • Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

is simple, delicious and addictive

Dice the onions and garlic cloves and fry in hot fat until the onions are translucent. Add the minced meat and let it sizzle until browned. Season with salt, pepper and paprika powder for the first time, but not too much; season to taste later. Chop the cans of tomatoes, bell peppers, sweetcorn and chili beans, add them and top up with water. Add the chili sauce, ketchup, tomato paste and stock cubes, spice things up with chili powder and let everything simmer for about 1 hour. Season to taste with Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, salt, pepper and paprika. You have to be a little careful when seasoning; if you don’t like it too spicy, use less chili sauce and ketchup. This soup is wonderful for parties. My friends love this soup and I’m sure you will too once you’ve given the soup the finishing touches to your own taste.
