  • possibly olive oil

Braised cabbage, easy, quick, low carb, vegan, purely plant-based

First, pour the soy granules into the broth and let them soak for at least five minutes. Chop the onions and fry them in a deep pan or pot with the olive oil. When the onions are translucent, add the soaked soy granules and fry everything together for at least 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cut the white cabbage into strips and rinse it in a sieve. Add the white cabbage to the soy granules and fry everything over medium heat for a further 10 minutes. If you like, you can add a little more water. This creates a broth/sauce. Now season to taste with salt, pepper, soy sauce and nutmeg and add the herbs. Let everything simmer for another five minutes on low heat. Optionally, potatoes can be served as a side dish. But it tastes great too.
