Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 5 apples (Boskoop), peeled
  • some lemon juice
  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • some cinnamon
  • 1 shot of milk
  • Fat for the mold
  • Powdered sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

without butter, always juicy

Dice the apples and drizzle with a little lemon juice to prevent them from browning. Beat the sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs until frothy. Combine the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon and stir in. Thin the batter with a splash of milk. Fold in the apples (the more apples, the moister the cake will be). Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about an hour (convection oven: 165°C) for about 50 minutes, until the cake is golden brown. Let cool, then sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
