Zucchini in a garlic-walnut-yoghurt sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg zucchini, peeled and cut into approx. 1 cm thick slices
  • 500 g yogurt
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 handful of walnuts, roughly chopped
  • Salt
  • Olive oil and neutral oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Stir the yogurt until creamy and season with the crushed garlic and salt. Fry the zucchini slices in hot oil (olive oil or neutral oil; I use a mix of both) until al dente. Remove from the pan and let the fat drain on kitchen paper. Simply pour the yogurt over the fried and slightly cooled zucchini and stir gently to ensure the zucchini are completely coated in the sauce. Sprinkle with walnuts, let cool, and serve cold. A great side dish or appetizer.
