Eggplant pan with minced meat and feta cheese

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 large eggplant(s)
  • 3 tbsp oil (olive oil)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 350 g minced beef
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 150 g sheep’s cheese
  • 1 cup of natural yogurt
  • chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dice the eggplant and fry in olive oil for about 10 minutes. Chop the onion and add it, finely chop or press the garlic, and sauté briefly. Add the ground beef and fry until crumbly. Season with salt, pepper, chili powder, and oregano. Mash the feta cheese with a fork and stir it into the yogurt, then season with pepper. Place a dollop of the yogurt-cheese mixture on each serving of ground beef. Serve with Turkish flatbread and a tomato or cucumber salad.
