Chicken in mustard marinade

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg chicken (whatever you have)
  • 0.33 cup(s) mustard
  • 0.33 cup(s) mustard (Dijon mustard)
  • 2 tbsp oil (olive oil)
  • ⅛ tsp red pepper, ground (or some cayenne pepper)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Total time approx. 6 hours 15 minutes

Clean the chicken pieces. Remove any skin, if desired. Pat the meat dry and place it in a shallow, sealable container (if you don’t have one, you can also use freezer bags and tie them). For the marinade, mix the mustard, Dijon mustard, vinegar, oil, and pepper well. Pour over the chicken pieces and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours. Then grill as usual.
