Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 1.2 kg chicken thighs, boneless
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp yogurt
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 ¼ tsp Pul Biber
- ½ tsp sweet paprika powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder, alternatively curry powder
- ½ tsp thyme
- 1 tsp cumin powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 4 hours 30 minutes
Mix garlic, yogurt, olive oil, tomato paste, and all other spices to make a marinade. Cut the boneless, skinless chicken thighs into small cubes and rub in the marinade. After at least four hours, or longer, drain some of the marinade and thread the chicken onto skewers. Grill on a hot grill or in the oven for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or pan-fry until browned and toasted in spots. Serve with spoon salad, grilled pointed peppers, and bread.
