Eggs – Garlic – Bread

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • 1 medium-sized garlic clove(s)
  • 2 slices of white bread
  • e.g. sea salt
  • n. B. Pfeffer
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Tapas

Peel the garlic clove and grind it into a paste. Whisk the egg with the garlic paste, salt, and pepper. The egg mixture can be thinned with a little water or milk, but it doesn’t have to be. Heat a frying pan with olive oil. Add the bread slices to the egg mixture, turning them several times until the bread is completely coated. Fry the bread slices in the frying pan until golden brown. Be careful not to burn the garlic, or it will become bitter.
