Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 500 g minced meat
- 1 ½ cup(s) rice
- 1 liter vegetable broth or meat broth
- 5 tbsp tomato paste
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder, hot
- Cayenne pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Brown the ground beef, then season and add the rice. When the rice has turned translucent, add the tomato paste and a little vegetable stock. Cover, stirring occasionally. Once the stock has almost completely evaporated or been absorbed, add a little more stock. Repeat until the rice is cooked through, then season to taste. Tip: If you like, you can also add onions while browning the ground beef.
