- 70 g sugar
- 50 g butter
- 200 g hazelnuts, ground
- 1 egg(s)
- 40 hazelnuts, whole
- Chocolate coating, dark or light

Heat the butter in a bowl over a pan of simmering water until almost liquid. Then stir in the sugar, then the egg, and finally the ground hazelnuts to form a smooth dough. Refrigerate the dough for 20 minutes. Preheat the oven to 175°C (top/bottom heat). Form small balls with your hands and place them on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Place a whole hazelnut in the center of each ball. Bake in the hot oven for about 15 minutes. Decorate the cooled hazelnut tips with chocolate coating.
