Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 6 slices of toast (wheat or wholemeal)
- 1 cucumber(s)
- 6 tbsp mayonnaise
- Thyme, fresh
- oregano
- Paprika powder
- Sea salt and pepper, freshly ground
- 1 can of sprats, approx. 75 g

Russian side dish
Toast the slices of bread and cut them diagonally. Spread half a tablespoon of mayonnaise on each corner, sprinkle with the seasoning, and place two slices of cucumber in one corner and one or two sprats on the other. This is a Russian side dish that’s especially popular with men.
