Tuna salad with corn

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can of tuna, in its own juice
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • Vinegar or lemon juice
  • oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs to taste
  • 1 onion(s), if you like

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Tear the tuna into pieces in a bowl. Wash the red beans and add them to the tuna along with the corn. Mix together a salad dressing from vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, and herbs and mix it with the tuna and vegetables. If you like, you can also dice an onion and mix it in. Which herbs? I use frozen herbs (salad herbs). But you can also use herbs of your own taste, especially fresh ones. Of course, you can also soak and cook a handful of red beans yourself. It’s up to each individual to decide. My children especially like this salad. You can also replace the red beans with a can of mushrooms; it tastes very good too.
