Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 4 eggs
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 500 g quark
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

with quark filling

Place the dough ingredients in a bowl and knead well. If the dough is too crumbly, add a little more water if necessary. Then roll out the dough thinly and cut out circles (approx. 7 cm in diameter) using a large cup. Mix the quark with the sugar and eggs until smooth. Using a teaspoon, place a little of the filling on one side of each cut-out circle. Fold the dough over the circles and press the edges together firmly with a fork. Place the dumplings in boiling salted water. When they float to the top, remove them and toss them in a pan with melted butter. Serve immediately.
