Oatmeal with mango and almonds

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 ml milk
  • 100 ml water
  • 50 g oat flakes
  • 2 tbsp flaxseed
  • 1 lime(s), juice
  • 1 banana(s)
  • ¼ mango(s)
  • 3 tbsp almonds, chopped
  • Desiccated coconut for garnish
  • Vanilla from the pod or mill
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Oatmeal with mango, banana, lime, almonds and coconut flakes

Cut the mango into small pieces. Mash the banana with a fork. Bring the milk and water to a boil with the vanilla and cinnamon, stirring continuously. Add the oats and flaxseeds and continue to simmer while stirring. Add the lime juice, almonds, and the mashed banana to the porridge and continue to simmer until the desired consistency is reached (stirring constantly to prevent burning). Transfer the finished porridge to a plate and garnish with mango pieces and coconut flakes. (If the lime is too tart, you can sweeten it with something else, such as honey.)
