Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 4 tomatoes, firm
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 2 bell peppers, green
  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • 150 g olives, black
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 3 tbsp vinegar (white wine vinegar)
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the onion and slice into thin rings. Wash the tomatoes, quarter them, and remove the stems. Peel the cucumber, halve them lengthwise (removing any large seeds), and cut into 4-5 mm thick slices. Halve the bell peppers, remove the stems, deseed them, wash them, and slice them into thin strips. Dice the feta cheese. Place everything, along with the olives, in a bowl. Mix the water, white wine vinegar, olive oil, salt, oregano, and pepper to make a marinade and pour it over the salad. Mix carefully but thoroughly using salad servers or similar. White pastries such as flatbread or baguette go particularly well with this refreshing salad from southern Europe.
