Refined turkey fillet Italian style

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g turkey breast fillet(s)
  • 100g baguette(s)
  • 80 g cheese
  • oregano
  • basil
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut the baguette into slices, then crumble and place in a pan with a little (!) olive oil to fry until crispy. Grate the cheese and transfer it to a tin. Finely chop the oregano and basil and add them to the cheese. Mix everything together with the toasted breadcrumbs from the baguette. Cut a large pocket into the turkey fillet and fill this pocket with the filling described above. Then fry the breast fillet in a heated pan with the remaining olive oil (from the baguette) until cooked through. Tip: If you want more cheese, close the open side of the pocket with a skewer or string to prevent the cheese from running. Serve immediately. This goes perfectly with a tomato and basil cream sauce—or something similar—and tagliatelle.
