an oatmeal recipe for the 3.5 L. Crock Pot / Slowcooker

First, grease the ceramic inner pot generously with butter. Then simply pour the remaining ingredients into the pot. A large 250 ml coffee mug is ideal as a measuring cup for the cup. Mix everything well and cover. The porridge simmers for approximately 6 hours on LOW. Afterward, mix the contents of the pot thoroughly again, as the oats will have settled a bit. Sprinkle with other ingredients to your liking and enjoy while still warm. The porridge tastes particularly good with chopped nuts, dried fruit, or even fresh fruit, maple syrup, or desiccated coconut.
