My porridge

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 ml milk
  • 5 tbsp oat flakes, finely chopped, heaped tbsp
  • 40 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp, smothered cinnamon
  • 1 tsp, levelled vanilla sugar
  • possibly fruit
  • possibly jam (strawberry jam)
  • possibly cocoa powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Bring the milk to a boil in a saucepan. Stir in the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the oats and stir well. Let them sit for about 5 minutes, making sure nothing sticks. Add the cinnamon and stir. If you prefer a thicker porridge, add more oats; for a thinner porridge, add more milk. Ladle into cups or bowls and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with fruit (e.g., cherries, raspberries, etc.). Tip: Instead of cinnamon, mix in strawberry jam (2 tablespoons) or refine it with cocoa powder.
