Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Nut parcels, for 12 pieces
Filling: Peel the nuts and almonds and coarsely grind or crush them. Add the cinnamon, cloves, and enough honey to form a dough that isn’t too stiff. Dough: Mix the oil, water, baking powder, and lemon juice together with enough flour to knead into a firm dough. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until finger-thick and cut out circles. Place a small amount of filling on each circle. Then fold the dough in half and firmly press the edges together. Place the nut parcels on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 200 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Then let them cool, dip them in rosewater, and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
