Crispy bruschetta with goat cheese and strawberries

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 slices of ciabatta
  • 175 g goat cheese (Brie)
  • 200 g strawberries, fresh
  • 8 basil leaves
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar, good
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 30 g cashew nuts or pine nuts

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Wash and hull the strawberries, and slice them thinly. Roughly chop the nuts and toast them briefly in a non-stick pan. Rinse the basil and finely chop them. Gently toss the strawberries with honey, balsamic vinegar, basil, and nuts and chill for 15 minutes to infuse. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Briefly toast the ciabatta slices in the oven for about 5 minutes, then top with the sliced ​​goat cheese and bake for another 10 minutes. Remove the ciabatta and goat cheese slices from the oven and top with the prepared strawberries.
