Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 700 g pork neck or neck bone
- 15 m.-large mushrooms, fresh
- 1 large onion(s)
- 2 bell peppers
- 2 glasses of Metaxa or other brandy
- Herbs, of your choice, fresh
- 200 g crème fraîche
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 liter cream (U-cream)
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
First, chop the ingredients into small pieces. Then, brown the meat in a pan with a little margarine. Then add the mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, and herbs and continue to cook until everything turns a golden brown. Now add the Metaxa, cream, crème fraîche, and a tablespoon of soy sauce and stir until thickened. The dish is ready when the cream forms a solid. I recommend serving it with rice or fresh bread and a red, semi-sweet Greek wine (imiglikos).
