Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g flatbread(s) or white bread, dry
  • 100 g caviar, red, or tarama paste
  • 100 ml oil (sunflower oil)
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Taramas

Soak the bread in water. Then squeeze it well with your hands. Briefly puree the bread and caviar in a blender or with an immersion blender. It’s important to break up all the caviar globules. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and slowly stir in the oil and lemon juice alternately until a light, creamy mixture forms. Refrigerate the tarama for at least 1 hour. Tip: Use boiled potatoes instead of bread.
