Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 500 g feta cheese (sheep), creamy and mild
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- oregano
- e.g. milk
- Salt
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
as from the Greek or Turk
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix until smooth (a fork works well for creamy feta, otherwise a blender is recommended). Season to taste. If desired, the mixture can be left a little more crumbly. It tastes great with flatbread or baguette. Tip: Alternatively, you can use cow’s milk feta. However, it won’t taste quite as “original.” I would add a little quark in that case, as the mixture wouldn’t be creamy enough otherwise.
