Shrimp with garlic, peppers and herbs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 12 king prawns
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 small peppers (hot)
  • 8 sprigs of thyme
  • 2 tbsp parsley (finely chopped)
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 80 g butter
  • 1 ciabatta
  • Salt and pepper, black

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

super tasty, a quick starter

Peel the prawns and remove the guts. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Deseed and finely chop the chili peppers, and finely chop the parsley and thyme. Heat the olive oil in a pan. Season the prawns with salt and pepper and sear for 2.5 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan. Add the butter to the pan and reduce the heat as soon as it begins to foam. Add the garlic, thyme, parsley, and chili peppers, season with salt, and continue to fry, stirring, until the garlic begins to brown. Add the prawns, stir everything together, and serve immediately. Pour the butter over the prawns and serve with ciabatta bread.
