Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (pappardelle)
  • 1 net melon(s) or Galia melon
  • 100 g bacon, diced
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 100 ml vegetable stock
  • 5 sprigs of parsley
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water until tender and set aside. For the sauce, cut the melon flesh into small pieces. Fry the bacon in a pan, add the melon pieces, and fry briefly. Deglaze everything with stock and cream and simmer for about 5 minutes. Add the pasta to the pan and mix thoroughly. Season to taste and sprinkle with chopped parsley. This dish is perfect served with homemade pasta.
