Orecchiette with broccoli

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g pasta (Orecchiette) but also works with other pasta
  • 1 small head of broccoli
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, good
  • 2 ½ tsp salt and pepper, freshly ground
  • e.g. Parmesan

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Fresh pasta with broccoli

Cook the orecchiette in 2.5 liters of salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, wash the broccoli and cut into small florets, and finely slice the garlic. About 4 minutes before the pasta is ready, add the broccoli florets to the cooking water. Sauté the garlic in olive oil in a pan. Add the drained pasta and broccoli, season well with salt and pepper, and mix thoroughly. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
