Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g oyster mushrooms
- 4 tbsp olive oil, very good
- 1 bunch of basil
- 3 garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp white wine, dry
- salt and pepper

for the typical Italian evening
Preheat the oven grill to 250°C. Cut the oyster mushrooms into pieces. If the stems are too firm, leave them out, as they will become tough. Season the mushrooms with salt and pepper. Toss with olive oil and place in an ovenproof dish or on a deep baking sheet. Place the dish in the hot oven about 10 cm below the grill coil and grill for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through. While the dish is grilling, finely slice the basil, peel and press the garlic. Mix everything with the mushrooms and return to the oven for another 2 minutes. Transfer the mushrooms to a bowl and stir the pan juices with lemon juice and white wine until they are completely dissolved. Pour the pan juices over the mushrooms. Enjoy warm immediately or let them sit for a few hours before serving.
