Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g pasta (spaghetti)
- 200 g bacon, streaky
- 4 eggs
- 250 ml sweet cream
- 150 g Parmesan, grated
- olive oil or butter
- Salt and pepper, black
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Finely dice the bacon and fry until crispy. Set aside. Crack the eggs into a bowl and mix with the cream and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Cook the spaghetti (al dente). Gently heat the butter or oil in a pan and add the dripping-wet spaghetti. Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and stir until it’s combined. Mix well and serve in a large bowl. Serve the bacon separately. Sprinkle it on top if you like.
