Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 large green bell pepper(s)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 3 eggs
  • butter
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • chili powder
  • Cinnamon powder
  • cumin
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Delicious scrambled egg variation

Dice the washed bell peppers. Melt a little butter in a pan and fry the diced bell peppers. Season with salt, pepper, and the other spices. Dice the washed tomato and add it to the fried bell peppers after 2-3 minutes. Reduce the heat and let the bell pepper and tomato mixture simmer for a few minutes, until the tomatoes have broken down and a thick sauce has formed. Now crack the three eggs into the pan and let them set slowly. When the eggs have reached the desired consistency, season again and serve. Best eaten hot with Arabic bread.
