Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 1 m.-large white cabbage
- 600 g minced meat, mixed
- ½ tsp caraway seeds
- 1 garlic clove(s), roughly chopped
- Salt
- pepper
- Oil (sunflower oil)

fried cabbage with minced meat
Chop the white cabbage. Remove the tough stalk and the inner leaves, which are very thick and hard. Cut the cabbage leaves into matchbox-sized pieces. Brown the minced meat in hot sunflower oil and chop into small pieces. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic. Remove the minced meat from the pan. Add another splash of oil to the pan and add the chopped cabbage. Cover for about 5 minutes, then continue to fry uncovered over medium heat until the cabbage turns golden yellow. Then add the minced meat. Season with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds and continue to fry until it looks quite brown. This is best served with potatoes.
