Quick braised cabbage with mixed mince

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ½ m.-large white cabbage
  • 250 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • Clarified butter, or oil for frying
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Caraway (also ground)
  • nutmeg
  • possibly broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Add a little clarified butter or oil to a hot pan. Briefly fry the ground beef, add the diced onions and white cabbage, season, and stir. Cover the pan. The moisture in the cabbage is enough to sauté it. Stir frequently to prevent it from burning! We like it crunchy, so simmer for 20 minutes. If you prefer it softer, add more water or broth. You can eat it with a slice of bread or potatoes.
